01

Define what the sample is expected to prove before it is made.

02

Use the approved drawing and configuration as the review reference.

03

Record sample changes before confirming the production version and commercial terms.

1. Define the sample objective

A sample may be used to evaluate visible design, lighting effect, controls, installation, branding, packaging or a combination of these. State the buyer, channel, destination and decision the sample should support.

2. Confirm the sample configuration

Align the overall dimensions, orientation, light layout, controls, anti-fog preference, electrical version, frame finish, mounting and brand presentation in a written brief or drawing before sample production.

3. Review the physical sample

Compare the received unit with the agreed reference. Record visible, functional, installation, label and packaging observations in one change list rather than relying on separate messages.

  • Shape, proportions, finish and reflected view
  • Light pattern, colour appearance and controls
  • Mounting, connection and operating logic
  • Labels, instructions, protection and carton presentation

4. Convert approval into an order reference

Confirm accepted changes in the final drawing, component specification, labels, instructions and packaging. Price, production schedule, warranty, documentation and order inspection scope are agreed for that final version.
