01

Give every mirror variation a room type, drawing reference, quantity and decision owner.

02

Use the model-room review to freeze one written product and packaging reference.

03

Release the order only after BOQ, installation, room identification and commercial records agree.

Gate 1 — establish the controlled room schedule

Create one line for every distinct room or public-area condition. Assign the room type, mirror code, width, height, orientation, quantity, drawing reference and responsible reviewer. Do not hide accessible-room, suite or vanity-width differences inside a general note.

  • Room type and room count
  • Mirror code, dimensions and quantity
  • Architectural or interior drawing revision
  • Buyer owner and current approval status

Gate 2 — define the guest-use sequence

Describe what the mirror light is expected to do and how a guest operates it. Record front, back or dual-light intent, wall-switch or local-control logic, dimming, colour-temperature and anti-fog preferences. Treat these as requirements to review, not as features assumed to exist on every model.

Gate 3 — coordinate wall, power and mounting

Connect the mirror schedule to the vanity centreline, finished wall, recess or surface condition, connection point and mounting responsibility. Record which party confirms the electrical version and which drawing will control installation.

  • Finished wall and vanity relationship
  • Power point and control location
  • Mounting, recess and service-access assumptions
  • Destination market and required document review

Gate 4 — use the model room as a decision record

Before treating a sample as approved, list what it must prove: proportions, reflected view, light appearance, controls, anti-fog operation, installation, labels and packaging. Record observations in one change list and connect every accepted change to a revised drawing or specification.

Gate 5 — plan room identification and delivery

Decide how each carton connects to the room schedule. Review product code, room or block identification, included parts, handling labels, carton artwork, internal protection and the spare-unit approach for the selected project route.

Gate 6 — complete the order-release pack

Before release, reconcile the final BOQ with the approved product reference and packaging reference. Keep the drawing revision, configuration, labels, instructions, requested documentation, inspection scope and commercial terms together so later changes remain visible.

  • Final room schedule and total quantity
  • Approved drawing, sample changes and configuration
  • Packaging, labels, instructions and identification
  • Price, production schedule, warranty and documentation scope

BUYER FAQ

Questions buyers ask while evaluating the next step.

Should every hotel room use the same mirror code?

Only when the dimensions, installation condition and required operation are genuinely the same. Suites, accessible rooms, double vanities and public areas should remain separate schedule lines when their decisions differ.

What should a model-room mirror approval cover?

The review should identify the drawing and configuration, then record visible finish, lighting, controls, anti-fog operation, mounting, labels and packaging observations in one controlled change list.

When is the hotel mirror order ready for release?

Release follows reconciliation of the room schedule, approved product reference, packaging and room identification, destination requirements, inspection scope and written commercial terms.
