A reference image is not a product specification
Two mirrors can look similar while using different glass, light layouts, drivers, controls, demister coverage, mounting and packaging. Begin with one model or platform reference and record which decisions are required, preferred or still open.
Lock the product envelope before adding features
State width, height, orientation, edge or frame direction, vanity relationship and wall condition. Include the destination, application and initial and repeat quantity so the drawing and quotation use the same buying context.
- Model or platform reference
- Width, height, orientation and depth context
- Application, channel and destination
- Initial quantity, variants and repeat forecast
Describe the lighting and operating result
Select front light, backlight or combined light, then record the task or ambient role, colour-temperature and colour-rendering target, dimming, control sequence and anti-fog request. Treat unmeasured values as targets for confirmation rather than current product ratings.
Coordinate US electrical and installation inputs
Record the planned supply, connection method, power-entry point, mounting surface, service access and installer responsibility. A buyer may request an OSHA-recognised NRTL route, but the applicable standard, mark and model scope must be confirmed for the final construction. Do not treat UL Listed and ETL Listed as generic feature names.
Define what the sample must prove
Assign reviewers for appearance, operation, installation, packaging and compliance. Keep the approved drawing revision, configuration code, sample observations and accepted changes together so a visual approval does not silently approve an undefined BOM.
Compare complete quotation scope
Compare suppliers only after the product, quantity, evidence, branding, packaging and delivery scope are aligned. MOQ, price, sample terms, production schedule, warranty and spare-parts support belong to the written quotation for that configuration.
- Model and drawing revision
- Requested evidence and inspection points
- Labels, instructions and carton scope
- Sample, initial order and repeat quantity
- Commercial terms for the selected configuration
